The Realisation.

In the past, I always thought that blogging was a waste of time. I didn't like having to log on all the time to write about my day when I still had two tonnes of homework waiting for me to do.
Today, I admit my mistake.
Today, I realised the power of blogging.
I see that it is not just about writing about one's day. It actually has an ability to influence your thinking, as I realised after reading Gayle Goh's blog.
I think that from now onwards I should start writing my actual THOUGHTS on my blog instead of descriptions of my day since no one would be interested in reading about my day, right?
Thus, from now onwards, I resolve to write about things that have actually been processed by my brain.

RV Open House

End Of Exams !!!

Last paper ended at 0945h today!!! Woohoo!!
But we had to clean up the classroom, though. And I went ahead to crap through my D&T....
Anyway... Me, Simin, Leetheng and Huisee went to fareast plaza to celebrate end-of-exams ( and do something else secret... MUAHAHAHAHA) ...
En route, we met Laura, Jodee and Dingrong who were going to take neoprints... I also wanted to go with them since Jodee promised me a neoprint.. but I already had an engagement. [sigh]
We also met Anni at the bustop and found out that she had a superthick book about Photoshop CS in her bag... seems like she's very serious about blogskins making...
Anyway, at fareast plaza, we shopped and shopped and shopped until all of us went bankrupt..
And I liked this shoe that Leetheng also thought was very nice.. but Simin and Huisee thought it looked very old. And I was torn between two shoes, not sure which to get although i knew which i liked better.... and then Simin and maybe Huisee did the sweetest thing.. They practically lied through their teeth to convince me to buy the one i liked more... and i felt touched... :)))
Anyway, after that we were going home and Huisee regretted not buying that necklace as I said she would....
And now she's telling me how much she regretted it over MSN... see, told u u'd regret it.. MUAHAHAHAHA
Anyway, I'm so looking forward to that ice-skating trip on Tuesday.. :)) Can wear my new shoes there...
And Jodee owes me a neoprint...

I woke up at 8 am to go to my grandmother's house to make zhongzi, chinese dumplings.
But before even starting to make, my grandma insisted that we had a proper breakfast first. She ordered me fishball noodles and warm milo. I only took a couple of sips and a couple of mouthfulls as I don't really have the habit of eating breakfast... Anyway, we started on the zhongzi late so i didn't manage to complete the process before i had to leave for je library to meet leetheng and company..
I did some work at the library.. although that is hard to say for the rest of us.. and then went for lunch at Pizza Hut.
But before we actually went to Pizza Hut, we got a bit sidetracked and ended up in the arcade playing the drum game.. :]
After we had our pizzazs, we went to take neoprints!!
We took two.. one with the guys and one just the girls.
The one with the guys was not as nice but eventful because of that one picture with them two fondly decorated by yours truly... oh yah.. im not supposed to talk about this or someone swore to kill me..
The one with the gals was nice!! Especially the rainbow one and the star one... told them that machine was great.. :)
After that we all went our seperate ways home... and i went back to Toa Payoh.
I was so exhausted by the long MRT journey home that I just laid on the sofa and slept.. Only to be awoken by my younger brother THRICEwith him spectacularly punching/slapping me in the stomach and head. And did I mention that he always bullies me? [ a.k.a. hitting me with a wooden giraffe toy, slapping me, biting me, licking me knowing that i hate saliva and more] I'm supposed to believe that he's only playing with me...
Even his mother also dun believe la!
Mummy's on my side.. we believe that he is pure VIOLENT [ bao4 li4 qin1 xiang4]. So it means that we'll just have to yan2 jia1 guan3 jiao4. [ muahaha]
But he's still my bro leh.... aiyah nvm la!
I spent the rest of the time there fanning the fire for the dumplings to cook.
Guess what, it takes them 2 and a 1/2 hours to cook... and that's just 1 batch!
Then i remembered that the Geog project had to be handed up tomorrow and that i hadn't completed it yet... so now i'm doing that.
And i've just realised that now i have to hand it in today...
Ah, well.

SCGS open house

On the 20th of May, Saturday, I went back to scgs for its open house. Man, do people look different! Anyway, i visited the band room [saw lingli's trumpet] the squash court, the shops and the khoo audi. to see the drama club. I must say that their performance was very commendable. Anyway, after that, I went to the math club room and hanged around there, attempting to solve the puzzles, where i met a teacher, often talked about by michelleteo. [ u noe wad, she talks so much about him, i thought she might be interested in him. no offense mich. ] Anywayi then went to see the string ensemble and the handbells... very interesting.. i must say.After that i went to buy some souveniors ------ a yellow balloon filled with flour and a decorated piece of cardboard. I'm not sure wat the balloon thingy is called, but i named mine flattened. And michelleteo helped me decorate the cardboard thingy so that it is very colourfully decorated with coloured pieces of ceramic and a couple of sequins. Then we walked around some more and then i went home... sigh.. wat a nice day..
I'm so looking forward to 8th June!

June holidays are arriving.
And even though i have a lot of work, have to go back to school often, have to do this, do that,
I'm still grateful!!!
During the June holidays, i'm going 4 class outing on the7th and going out with the superduper girls from scgsp [*wink].

Chinese Orchestra

I decided to write about the Chinese Orchestra. [CO] It is rather pleasant actually... makes better music than band. But it recquires loads of commitment. It is always the last CCA to be let off u noe? And we constantly have to attend concerts to learn from them...I would have much, much, much, much preffered St. John's but it was already full. I couldn't believe it! the least popular CCA full the moment I came to RV? What are the odds?
Anyways! The sec 4 seniors in CO always make us hold the heavy Chinese cymbals high above our head for 10 minutes at a time!!! It's lethal... don't try it. Hmmmmm.... I think there's no more... so bye!

Backstreet Boys

I just had a preview and realised what a huge paragraph I just wrote. Anywayz... I forgot to mention the wonderful Never Gone concert of Backstreet Boys' I went to. I dun remember the date, but it was a Tuesday after CCA. [ Mine is Chinese Orchestra. I play percussion.] I was so pooped out I didn't really enjoy it. But anyway, everyone hada great time and it was fun to see mummy dancing around like a maniac without rythm or beat. Ah the fond memories...

I cannot believe it! It is the second of March and I am only doing my first entry of the year!
All reading this must be glad especially Michelle and LingLi.So christmas was good. Although I could have done with more presents. The 4-day Chinese New Year holidays was good too. I had three days of MCs so I had a NINE-DAY HOLIDAY!!!! Just like March holidays. But it passed so quickly i hardly enjoyed it... and when i got back 2 school, I was laden with work. Not a particularly good memory... Anyway I recently had my birthday and i got an okay amount of presents. [ Yes, I'm hinting to you]It's 2319h... I still got loads of work. No time to blog too much... gtg!

WOW!!!! I haven't posted 4 a reeeeeeeeaaaaally long time!!! In this time, PSLE flew past, the learn-2-swim program and test flew past, lifeskills flew past, flea market flew past, and even a seminar flew past!!! All in 13 days! I even went out with Michelle T., Ling Li and Eugenie 2 Lot
1. We took loads of neoprints, played alittle arcade and walked around. ( u noe I'm not a person of details...) Now that school has ended all I do all day is eat, sleep, watch TV and play computer! By the way, just thought I'd mention... on the last day of school, the whole class ( except me and a few people ) cried 4 the last 40 min!!!! No pun intended, but it was hilarious !!! I really couldn't understand what they were crying over... i mean u could still meet up, right? There's a new 6sy blog that's really nice!!! WOW! look how much i wrote!!! anywayz, gotta go!

Fun day out! / WEIRD!!

Hello! U noe wat, on Monday, 01/08/05, Michelle Teo and Eugenie went to my house! We had lots of fun! I'm really lazy to write down the details as u all can always read it at Michelle Teo or Eugenie's blogs. But to avoid any problems ( from a certain Michelle Teo), I shall write a brief summary. A complete and detailed story including every twig we saw on the way can be found on Michelle Teo's blog.
So we set off for my house and on the bus on the way there, Michelle Teo and Eugenie kept on complaining about how far the destination was. And I quote, " Are we there yet?!?!?!?". Now they realise why I'm so late everyday. Er... then we finally reached my house and I took them on a tour of er..... swimming pools? Anyway, when we were done, they were practically fainting.
Ah... kids these days! We had bee hoon and chicken wings, bathed, and did a bit of work, then set off for Lot 1 Shoppers' Mall. We took 1 hour to reach there!!!! All because it was the afternoon peak hour! We had to walk all the way to a LRT station and take one to Lot 1. And guess what? Me and Eugenie passed the barrier and we were waiting for Michelle when she could not enter! Turns out that she had tapped her card once... twice... thrice... and more! She said that the light turned green the first time she tapped. I thought it might have been a technical difficulty. But when we exited, Michelle tapped her card and just stood there, waiting. Apparently she thought that the barrel would open up itself. ( We were supposed to push it open.) Then we took neoprints, had lots of fun and took a taxi back. Then we did more work and they went home. THE END!!!! Oh and you guys really can't hear the music? Because I can... WEIRD!!!

Long time no write. I just recovered my missing password to this blogging account.
So, nothing much has happened. Except that I went to Disneyland and Universal Studios which were both lots and lots and lots of fun!
The first three days of Term 3 were no fun at all... Just listening to the droning of teachers could make me fall asleep. (Which I would already have done if not for the consequences.) Anyway, I have to go babysit now. Bye!
